Post-Graduate Medical Education

Message from the Director of Medical Education

Welcome to our Residency website. We hope that you will take a moment to navigate the site and learn about our program.

Physicians for Healthy Hospitals Board of Directors, Hemet Valley Medical Center medical staff and its executive leadership is committed to assuring excellent medical coverage in the community for years to come. Affiliated with Western University of Health Sciences and OPTI-West consortium, we look forward to participating in the growth and education of the physicians who will rotate in our programs.

The mission of the Hemet Valley Medical Center Postgraduate Medical Education Residency Program is to provide physician residents with a training program with a comprehensive structured cognitive and procedural clinical education in both the inpatient and outpatient settings in our Diagnostic Radiology, Internal Medicine and Traditional Rotating Residencies.

The PHH Post Graduate Medical Education Residency program has been designed to ensure mastery of clinical medicine and guide the resident toward a rewarding professional life. The goal of the program is to enable postgraduate trainees to become competent, proficient and professional osteopathic physicians, supporting the medical needs of our community for years to come.

I encourage each of you to support these new physician residents as they begin their post-graduate training. They represent the future of medical care in our community.
